I'm an international development expert with over two decades' experience solving the persistent challenges of sustainability, scale, and impactful interventions.

While traveling in Africa in the ‘90s, I was struck by the epic water and sanitation challenges the continent faced, and I resolved to help find a solution. I quit my publishing job, got a Master's degree in Engineering at MIT, and began working at the World Bank. Over the last 20+ years, I managed multi-million-dollar programs, ran a $20-million granting portfolio, and led fundraising efforts that secured over $50 million.

I collaborated with corporations, development agencies, governments, foundations, and NGOs to develop and implement programs with real results on the ground. I also launched and coordinated multi-stakeholder groups composed of corporations, foundations, development agencies, and NGOs.
